Responsibilities
As the Director of Contract Services, you will report to the Vice President of Operations and be responsible for coordinating service act contracts through the GWISR affiliate, Powerworks Industries. Powerworks currently has two locations which include a site at the Marine Corps Base in Albany, GA and the Army Base at Fort Benning in Columbus, GA. The affiliate holds the rights to expand services to Moody Air Force Base located in Valdosta, GA. Powerworks is responsible for AbilityOne (formerly known as NISH) contracts that currently include custodial cleaning and grounds maintenance. As Director of Contract Services you will serve on GWISR’s Emerging Leadership Team and will be responsible for recommending policies, standard operating procedures, and strategies to support continued growth and advancement of GWISR’s mission. You will actively participate and collaborate in the long-range financial planning of the organization including developing and managing Contract budgets. This is a highly mission and relationship driven position with substantial untapped potential for GWISR. All responsibilities will be in support of and in conjunction with organizational strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications
- 5 years leadership and management experience with accountability for: identified outcomes of multiple facilities spanning a wide geographic area, management of staff, budgeting, billing, and community development.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of military installation/government set aside billing.
- Must have demonstrated examples of experience utilizing relationship skills and business acumen to grow multiple lines of business.
- Familiarity with the Government procurement process from solicitation through contract closeout.
- Experience with quality control initiatives including establishing sound processes and identifying technology that will assist in both accountability and process streamlining.
- Must have a passion for developing people and changing lives.
- Must be insurable on company vehicle insurance.
